To provide a center for excellence in medical education, and to establish and develop innovative training programs that could reach scholars from all around Egypt, the Eastern Mediterranean Region, and the world by distance learning in addition to providing face to face learning opportunities to those who can afford it. The FOM, SCU Med Education Department prepares and qualifies a cadre of experts who can help develop and reform medical curricula locally, nationally, regionally, and internationally.
